Wireless Telecoms

Most companies have some type of wireless telecommunications strategy. Or is bought and paid for cell phones for their employees (this is known as a "corporate responsibility plan") or that allow their employees a certain amount of expenditure of personal account from your mobile phone to the company (known as "responsible person").
Traditional thinking about all the assets of the company is that a company must be in control of the asset. Phones cell seem to break that rule and personally responsible companies allow wireless devices to be used for business. When a phone is used for commercial purposes, becomes a business asset and should be treated as such. Customers and partners hope that the phone number to conduct business.
If the person holding the wireless device leaves the factory, the cell phone number goes with them. A cell phone used for company purposes, like it or not, becomes a corporate asset in time. If the contacts using each phone number to contact the owner of the wireless device for commercial purposes, that number becomes so valuable as a DID number on a PRI.
Our view is that if an employee is valuable enough to justify the expenditure on his mobile phone, the firm must control the device and number. Unless the cell phone is part of a plan for corporate responsibility, when the employee leaves, the cell phone number goes with them. Lost revenues and disadvantages for business contacts is unknown, but is a presumption easy to believe that the impact is greater than the small amount of savings deposits by the company, only allowing people to bear part of your bill.
