VOIP Magazine reports Zimmermann's zFone release

According to its inventor, zFone isn’t itself a VoIP client. "It's like a plug-in," he says. "You can use any VoIP client you want, and this thing sits in the IP stack and watches for VoIP packets, intercepts them, and encrypts them on the fly." AOL, Google, Microsoft, and Yahoo are among the providers of VoIP clients.
