According to its inventor, zFone isn’t itself a VoIP
client. "It's like a plug-in," he says. "You can use any VoIP client
you want, and this thing sits
in the IP stack and watches for VoIP packets, intercepts them, and
encrypts them on the fly." AOL, Google, Microsoft, and Yahoo are among
the providers of VoIP clients.

enthusiastically this month. As I’ve stated repeatedly, it is long
past time for congress to deliver a unified privacy statute that would
protect consumers and rationalize the hodgepodge of state and
